Kin.J began to collect hip-hop, funk and reggae records during his student years. It was after he finished working for UDance Radio back in 2014 when he revealed his identity as a DJ. He selects the latest and most pioneering club music while not shying away from digging for unknown sounds. Working at the radio station for many years has helped him maintain strict control over sound, create careful selections, mix with precision, and keep the dance floor heated.
In recent years, in addition to spinning for various events for Shanghai Fashion Week, Nike, Adidas, Beats, Casio, and other brands, he has also supported the likes of GrandTheft, Baauer, Lex Luger, Rich Brian, J$tash, Father, Smokepurpp, Sad Boys’ Yung Lean, and Thai boy Digital. Not to mention that he has also shared the stage with Stones Throw’s Knxwledge, Homeboy Sandman, Jazzy Sport’s BudaMunk, Grooveman Spot, Four Color Zack, and DJ Craze. Kin.J’s unique musical taste defines him as one of the best hip-hop DJ’s in Shanghai, constantly receiving praise for his diverse sets in any given occasion.
